Main issue with 26ers is its hard to find chubby tires, Shwalbe stopped making rocket ron in 26x2.4 a fair while back, but i think they still do them in 2.25.

And forks.. Suntour still do Raidon and epixon straight steer.. Frames limited to straight rather than tapered steerer are pretty limited for fork choice.
Luckily my current frame is zs44 so will take any fork with the right headset.

maxxis minions, high roller 2 etc are still available in 26. Never really used Schwalbe tyres.

Schwalbe is more a brand of Europe and the US where German engineering adds value to the products but I think in the far east you see CST/Maxxis and Kenda dominate quality tyre sales and the Korean manufacturer of Schwalbe tyres who manufacture their bike tyres in Indonesia I think are more likely to be sold under their own brands in 26" sizes in the far east. Both CST and Kenda are the OEM suppliers to a lot of bike tyre brands as well so even when you don't realise it you have their tyres on your bike, so many of their rebranded tyres may stop being available in 26" its extremely unlikely they will stop 26" production for their own brands due to their home markets being dominated by 26".
