HI im building a 29er Santa Cruz Chameleon .
Does anyone know the size of the seat tube please .As I have a 30.9 dropper post . Specs online doesnt mention the size . Any help be most appreciated .

    Can't you just measure it?

    Or stick the post in. If it doesn't fit, it's the wrong size.

    31.6 mm mines 30.9 so not miles out .

    Well I havent putchaesd the frame yet .its coming next month agter holiday .But thanks for you reply .

    Not miles out, but far enough to be the wrong size.
    You need to either buy the correct diameter seat post or a shim to allow you use your current post.

    0.7 of a mm not a huge difference .
    Thats some thin shim then mate

    It's big enough of a difference not to fit, Ask an On One owner... You'll not get the clamping force required to stop it from slipping. Shims are available, USE make them, but if not then new post time.

    In terms of the tolerance in the seat tube internal diameter it is a huge difference. As Tom Howard says, you won't be able to clamp the seat post in place. You could always do the clamp up so tight that it crushes the seat post so the dropper function no longer works or just buy one of THESE.

    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
