Hi All,
My 2009 rockhopper has Rock Shox Dart 3 forks. They jammed up some time ago and only now do I have the time to try and service them.
I've removed them from the bike, taken out the spring and damper and oil. I've unscrewed the lower fork bolts and freed them with a mallet following the user manual and videos on Youtube, but the lower fork just won't shift. I've managed to get about 2mm of movement by hitting with a seriously larger hammer and piece of wood, I also rigged up a car jack to apply a serious amount of pressure between the top part of the fork and the lower but still nothing.
I'd be grateful of any advice I can get from the forum please.
regards,
Chris
