Interesting thing to note about this thread is the absence of any women.

    Victoria Wood
    Lily Tomlin
    Joan Rivers

All OK-ish but to be frank I can't think of a single female comic I would put in a top 30.

Sad, also slightly odd, but true!

Bunch of middle aged blokes prefer middle aged bloke comedians. Bleedin obvious I would have thought.

    Aisling Bea was mentioned earlier.
Rose Matafeo is excellent and recently was voted the best act at the Edinburgh Festival so I'm not the only one who enjoyed her show.

As I'm also a leftie social justice warrior I've been known to enjoy Bridget Christie.

So, as a leftie SJW what do you think think of Hannah Gadsby?

I personally find her as funny as root canal work but maybe someone will see her differently

I enjoy Hannah Gadsby but more from the point of view that I find her interesting and thought provoking instead of laugh out loud funny.

I certainly don't just enjoy any woman with right on views, I'd rather see that dentist of yours then subject myself to seeing Josie Long again.

Not read the whole thread but I assume with good reason that McIntyre hasn't had a mention.

He did on the 'I just don't get it' thread, but as you suggested, none of it was good

I was tempted to on the first page...

After all, like Miss Brown's Boys, he is apparently very popular.

Actually unlike Miss Brown's Boys, I do find McIntyre amusing.
