Out of obscurity. Amazing tracks that time forgot.

Stuart's guitar is heartbreaking on this lost gem.

From their masterpiece The Absolute Game.

The B side of Born to Run - such a dark song, but beautiful, haunting piano and trumpet accompaniment.

    Barbarian - The Darkness

Everyone knows them for 'I believe in a thing called love.....'
First heard Barbarian on a Darren Redick (Planet Rock) Rock Block early in the year. Just excellent.

I have a feeling there are one or two words missing that might have added clarity...

Not really. I know them mostly for a gawd awful Christmas song.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

On the subject of gawd awful Christmas song, I offer Queen - Thank god it's Christmas.
  • Funny that this thread exists as this has happened to me today.

Currently taping all the vinyl on the pc and come across this album in the collection by a band called Stray, album is called Saturday Morning Pictures.

Apparently they were a late 60's early 70's rock band who I have to admit I had never heard of. I am by no means a rock fan (always been a soul man) but boy these guys can play.

No idea how we have this album, presuming somebody left it at the house at some point but well worth a listen.

You should have just done it the old fashioned way and recorded direct to tape.
