Hi all
In 2019 Id like to do sone events. Ive been riding a while but never done a race and I dont really know where best to find out about when and where they are on.
I had a quick look in the sub forum here but it seemed to mostly be events abroad.
Im in the Midlands so would be looking for events around Cannock or Wales probably.

Ah Cannock Chase was my first MTB race. This was pre internet so god knows how I found out about races then - but I'd think British Cycling would be a good start - https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/home0

Not much on that website though. 46 races showing in the mtb section but none at any of the trails I know, and none that seem suitable.0

Have a look at xcracer.com
They list plenty of mtb races around the country.0 -
Midlands have the Friday Night Summer Series, XC event.

I am also intending to do some racing this year and found this to be a great race detail source!
