Hi, There's a grinding noise coming out from my rear hub and i went down to a bike shop and they said the free hub bearing is on its way out and needs replacing soon. The problem is Im looking to replace it myself but not sure which one to get. My bike runs on SRAM XG-1230 Eagle, 11-50, 12 speed thanks :)

What’s relevant is what hub it is, not what the cassette wrapped round it is, so what hub is at the rear?
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

You have not even opened it up to take a look. If you don't do that how can you know. A mechanic would look not consult a book. Therefore if you want to do it yourself open up the hub and take a look. If you don't know how work it out or pay the shop.

Given we have not seen your hub I and no one else can give an answer. I am mechanic I would take a look at the bearing. Probably cup and cone though. New formula freehubs are not available to buy

Agreed, pretty sure that's a cup and cone, so you just service it like any other cup and cone hub, as such you don't get 'which one' but loose balls, even assuming new ones are needed.
