Zwift & HRM issues

My setup is a Cycleops Magnus, which I use with Zwift on my ipad. It all syncs fine (although I suspect the rpm of the cycleops is a bit wide of the mark).

But I can't get a reading from Garmin HRM. I've read online that Zwift ios doesn't recognise ANT+ only Bluetooth. Does that mean that my Garmin HRM is useless with my current setup. Do I need another heart rate monitor? If so, any recommendations please? I've seen recommendations for Viiiva, but I'd really rather not spend that much money. Thanks

    I've been using https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01 ... ge_o06_s00 since January this year, no issues at all.

    Very happy with my Wahoo tickr that I’ve had for about 3 years now - I think they do a slightly fancier version for a few extra pounds but I didn’t need anything other than the basic heart rate strap. It’s ant+ and bluetooth so should be backwards compatible with any older devices you have. It’s comforable and the strap is still is good condition despite lots of use.
