custom shoes again

Wondering about how to get the best fitting shoes - one foot is 0.5 UK sizes bigger than the other, both in length but also seems to be quite a bit 'taller' (not sure of the right term). Can custom orthotics deal with this, or would custom shoes make more sense? Either way who are the best providers? For custom shoes there seems to be very little choice.

Thanks

B

Orthotics. Having one foot bigger than the other is quite common. If you can't find a solution with off the shelf orthotics then try a sports physio as they have easy access to corrective orthotics.

However be aware that they are costly. I pay £50 for a pair of orthotics. At any time I have a minimum of 3 pairs on the go and still have to move pairs between shoes.

My Specialised road shoes have Spesh orthotics fitted and my Northwave winter boots have the corrective ones fitted.

Mine were "prescribed" after developing Plantar Fasciatis but my left foot is bigger than my right, maybe not a half size tho'.
