where can I find expert ebike advice?

It is a bit late and I'm half asleep so bear with me. I need an ebike, as I am getting older I have lost interest in fitness and reason. I think I dug too deep and got paranoid or there is some kind of conspiracy against ebikes in general, crazy stories I've heard fitting a hub motor on a front wheel will turn you sterile and use only steel because steel is real sonny. This forum has no section dedicated to ebikes so I was wondering where can I find the "experts".

I am so for ebikes - I might need one myself as time goes on.
If it means that people have a proper choice on how eg to get to work and not use a car, to pop to the shops and not use a car.
Cycling for things other than fitness is possible... it gives mobility back.
