Has anyone done it recently? Looks fantastic with lots of great write-ups, but I can't find anything on here that is less than 3 yrs old. Clearly an expensive job getting there - is it worth it?

Never actually ridden it, albeit ridden around there a bit. It's stunning a stunning cycling area.
IMHO it's a bit short, though you can do plenty other riding out there and the closed roads make it great. Can be a bit crowded so try to get near the front if you want a good time.
And you do run weather risk, it's been cancelled a couple of times due to heavy winds/storms. The winds can be proper hectic0 -
How can it be worth it?
