Mudguards for 650c wheels

My son has a Triban 500 with 650c wheels. Can anyone recommend a set of mudguards that would be suitable? Ideally I want more coverage than that offered by mudguards like the Zefal Croozer.

    I'm a big fan of SKS Beavertail XL for something very easy to install and remove, use the rear on my Voodoo, supposedly good for up to ~58mm wide tyres but neither my 29x2.3" Vee Speedsters or 29x2.35" G-One Speeds work (but I've plenty of 28-40mm tyres that do).

    My son too had a Triban 3 with 650 wheels. I found that the older style Giant Defy guards worked very well. Had to shorten the stays with a hacksaw and made a small bracket for the front end of the rear guard to attach to the rear of the seat tube. Worked well and looked very neat.
