Morning

This morning is helping out at the local parkrun and we'll see what happens this afternoon.

I spent last night redoing the tubeless setup on the other wheel of my MTB so I'm hoping it's not gone flat overnight. A ride to the park should be a nice little test.

Brisk walk with the dog this morning, now waiting for the wife to get up for breakfast.

Then off to a local shoot with the eldest and dog for his first go, but cutting it short as eldest is working lunchtime.

Later is into town with friends

It's the Slog bonfire party tonight.

Grown up sons and other family coming round to eat us out of bacon cobs, hotdogs and jacket spuds, and make some pyrotechnic noise. So, will spend the day getting it ready.

This morning will be mainly domestic chores inc sanding down window frames for priming.

This afternoon and evening will be more fun, meeting up with the core members of our usual Belgian expeditionary force for drinks, nibbles, games, fireworks and supper.

    Morning folks,
Traditional slow start is being enjoyed. A few odd jobs to be done. Off to Hopper country to sort out the old man’s garage at some point. It’s full of picture framing equipment, I need to remind myself how to use it as a mate’s brother in law is buying it all.
Lad is coming back from uni for a few days tomorrow, no doubt with a sack full of washing.

    Meh.

    It's windy, wet and grey.

I'll report pater if something actually happens.

Lots of minor jobs done already. Won a prize in the local library raffle - 2 free coffees and cake slices so am considering whether to tell Mrs. 666 :)

Now sitting in my usual Beckenham caff with coffee and bacon sarnie. Later is a trip to my neighbours brewery in SE London to celebrate getting shot of the chavs on the other side. Hopefully it's mates rates for the beer.

Not much to oggle at today. Most of the bouncing norks were on the men.

Bike tyre hadn't gone flat so went for a bit of a random ride around on the way back. The BMX track in the park could do with some TLC :(
