Narrow wide problem

Hi guys I've just upgraded my giant trance x4 to I by 11 in form of sram nx I got a gold kmc 11 speed chain with kmc quick link and a rsp cling ring 32t narrow wide chain ring.
Problem more less every time the quick link gets to the chain ring it doesn't engage with it properly and try to jump put slightly I'm 95% sure the quick link is snapped all the way in and the links move freely by hand so not to sure why it's doing it anyone else had same issue driving me nuts??

I had what sounds like the exact same problem - did a 1X conversion with a n/w chainring and chain was constantly in shipping every couple of revolutions. Quick link looked fully engaged but wasn’t. Used a Park quick link tool to properly spread the link and it’s been perfect since.0
