Canyon Endurace Steerer Cap
Hi All,
Last night I inadvertently wrecked my steerer cap by trying to tighten the preload without loosening the stem bolts first (fool). Now I'm unsure as to what I can get to fix this. The cap definitely needs replacing and I don't think its the expanding type although it is a carbon fork. Ideally it would be good to get the part from wiggle or whoever as that will be quicker than OEM from Canyon. Any suggestions much appreciated.

If speed is important, nip down the lbs and buy a bung and cap. Sorted
If its a star fangled nut, then you might need to push it further down the steerer to get it out of the way. If you haven’t got the tool, gentle taps with a mallet and a punch or even old screw drive should do. Alternately an old steerer bolt screwed in and tapped gently will work.0 -
Which Endurace is it? Even my wife's last alu one had a full carbon fork so would have had a bung rather than star fangled jobbie.0

Its an AL6. There is no star thing. Just an allen bolt with the plastic bung/cap as one piece (or was one piece :-))0

Am assuming its a 1 1/8 steerer so this would do :

Yep - that or similar should be fine. The Endurace AL bikes have a standard 1 1/8 steerer. It's the CF models that have the less common 1 1/4 steerer0
