Apologies if this is in the wrong place! Stuck another thread about replacing my warbird and large part of that desire is to get some fatter rubber. Tempted to go 650b but interested to hear real world experiences. Specifically if was worth it for proper little trails where I’m finding I hit the rim on my 700c wheels? Thanks in advance

For road use 650b is if no benefit but if you head off road then yes wider tyres are if benefit and that means 650b.

  • I got 650b on my road bike (whyte glencoe) and they are very comfortable compared to even 35mm tyres I had on a previous cx bike. As with most tyres you can vary the pressure for comfort and speed. Grip is great!!
  • Cheers guys!
