Measuring spoke lengths???
I've got a set of Bracciano ProLite A42 SE wheels with heavy corrosion on the spoke nipples.
My original plan was just to replace the nipples one by one and then rebalance the wheel but the nipples have corroded to the point where the only option will be to cut the spokes and replace them.
I've never done this before but am keen to give it a go but I:m struggling at the first hurdle, ordering replacement spokes!
When measuring spokes do you start from the bend or the head? And how is it possible to be precise (to the mm?).
Hope this isn't a dumb question...

You've got an even easier option - pro lite publish the spoke lengths on their website -

Front spokes are 265mm (this can be safely rounded down to 264mm), rear spokes 271mm non drive side, 267mm drive side (again, you'd often round this down to 270mm and 266mm as spokes don't often come in odd sizes).
Good luck! Replacing them one by one will be pretty arduous, but might be the best option if you don't want to invest in a truing stand and dishing gauge.0
