Hi. I've got a trek roscoe 8 2019. I want a bigger chainring on the front.

I'm pretty clueless when it comes to bikes.

Does anyone know what chainring i need to fit it.

All i know is the chainring needs to be a boost and sram compaitable.

Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the forums.

You have answered your own question - For your chain set you need a SRAM-compatible direct mount ring. Something like THIS.
    “Life has been unfaithful
And it all promised so so much”

    Giant Trance 2 27.5 2016 ¦ Sonder Broken Road 2021¦ Giant Revolt Advanced 2 2019 ¦ Giant Toughtroad SLR 1 2019 ¦ Giant Anthem 3 2015 ¦ Specialized Myka Comp FSR 2009
  • Cheers. I knew i probably did answer it. I just wasn't sure what i was looking at lol.

I'm pretty new to mtb so didn't want to get it wrong.

So that one should fit then yeah.

    Thanks again

Yes, as long as your current ring is a boost one.

THIS VIDEO shows you how to change the chain ring.

    yeah its the boost one.

I watched that video earlier, looks simple enough but no doubt i'd do somthing wrong. suppose its the only way to learn about these bikes.

Cheers again thats the bit ordered. Hopfully i can still get up hill with it.
