Losing tyre pressure through jumping?

Basically, wondering if I've got a slow puncture or something else.
Got the bike out to commute to work this morning and not long after I'd started off I noticed the back tyre pressure was very low. I pumped it up using a hand pump and it got me into work ok.
The last time I used the bike was on Sunday when I went round some fairly tame trails at Sandwell Valley, but I spent a fair while practicing getting some air.
TL;DR - can getting air cause tyres to lose pressure?

Are the tyres tubeless? If they are, they could be burping when you land.0

Tubeless can ‘burp’ if you land hard enough. If you’re running with inner tubes It’s possibly just a tiny pin prick puncture, and you’ll have a job finding it, without taking the tube out and dunking it in water, or slathering it with saliva. Or it could be something like a leaky valve.0

Tyres aren't tubeless.
I'll check pressure again at lunch time and if it's gone down again I can just pop to a bike shop for a new inner tube. (yes I know I should carry an inner tube as part of my kit)0
