DIY Inflator

So I have got the main ingredients for my DIY inflator
Fire extinguisher
Presta valve
Drill bits
I’ve watched some YouTube vids on how to and it’s seems relatively straight forward, but what I can’t figure out is what goes on the end of the hose.
How do I connect the thing to my wheel? Some vids show just a tube that pushes onto my (presta) valve on the tyre that has the valve core taken out, others show the bike pump kind of push on and lever close system.
Any thoughts/solutions out there? I have a track pump with the push in lever hose but don’t really want to cannibalise it for just that part (and it would leave me no way to pump up the inflator).
