Best MTB under £400

£400 is my budget, I've had a bit of a look and the btwin rockrider 540 seems decent. Any other options?

Hex, if you know what size you need, i would look at something secondhand if i was you.
You will get a better bike for your money, check out ebay mate you can pick up some cracking bargains.

I also agree, what you will get for 400 new will be pretty trash as far as being able to with stand the beating you will soon put on it. go second hand for sure, the key is to check it constantly everyday, whatever site, app or eBay you use check it frequently, good deals are out there but they go fast.
