So looking at new adventure bike as do it all bike mainly -10 mile each way commute but also family and solo rides. The commute is mainly cycle network paved canal towpath and tarmac and a bit off road, which size wheels? I prefer the 700c on 45 or 47 mm tires for light off road but bike will also take 650bx50.
Thanks Andy

  • If it's fairly flat and non technical you'd be better with the 700's

Anything gnarlier then the 650'bs would be your best bet

how tall are you? I've gone 650 because I've got a small frame and it feels more proportionate, and better because of toe overlap, something to consider
