Rotor-free disc wheel?

Hi.
Just want some reassurance that It'd be ok to run a disc wheel without the rear rotor to use on a turbo.
My road tyres are quite 'soft' and want to use my spare wheel that doesn't have a rotor on it instead.

It will be fine, but you might want to fit a spacer between the disc pads in case you inadvertently pull the lever..
