Shipping a Bike

Currently have a bike for sale (see Sig below!!!) and although originally I preferred collection only I'm looking into couriers.

A quick google brings up Bike Delivery - who can send me a box and will then collect when it's all packaged. Haven't looked into prices yet but they begin at £24.

Can anyone recommend me a good service you've used in the past?

    KTM use DPD Local for their shipping.

    yes - I'm looking for carriers for Little Slowbikes first pedal bike ... now he's out grown it ... :(

    Depending on how big it is (I can't imagine it's too big being a kiddies bike), ParcelForce are pretty good. Cost me about £20 to ship a bike frame a few years back.

    Goto your local Halfords or bike shop and ask for a box, they are usually delighted to get them off their mits then box it up got sizes and weights and check a price comparison site. I've used DPD and parcel Force before, both fine. Make sure it is well packaged though

    Like above, I've got cardboard bike box from Halfords or alike. Always used Parcel Force for bikes and frames but not for a little while, just make sure measurements of box is within their parameters, also weight.
    Off piste a little bit but those boxes are also great for when taking a bike on a plane, pack in box with protection [padding] and pack the box in bike bag. Belts and braces !

    Like I said (wrote) KTM use them to ship their bikes. How do I know? I used to collect them.
