I am not in insurance, but I have been to the Lamb for drinks, lunchtime or otherwise, as i have a friend who is a broker.
The amount of lunches that she has that result in not returning to work seems incredible...0 -
+1 in insurance here too, internal Risk Management. Have been known to frequent Spice Trader in Philpot Lane for a ruby on occasion.WyndyMilla Massive Attack | Rourke 953 | Condor Italia 531 Pro | Boardman CX Pro | DT Swiss RR440 Tubeless Wheels

I was broking until July, but moved back to underwriting, wonder if any of us have crossed paths IRL.
Look to get back into underwriting too. The broking world is not a pleasant place!
Amen, I seem to be doing a lot more work now, but much less BS. Can't imagine how crappy London must be if Brum is this bad.
Agreed, the BS is awful. I'd take a bigger workload any day!0 -

If you ever saw the management notes which came along with that building about rotting food and rat infestations you'd never eat there again...If I know you, and I like you, you can borrow my bike box for £30 a week. PM for details.0 -

+1 on Konditor and Cook. That place'll be the death of me!
Good guess - but an IT services company rather than an insurer or broker - I'll look into Lloyds - thanks
And just like that he was identified on LinkedInFCN 9 || FCN 50 -
Just had a fire drill. The Lamb is now full of people from my company. Wonder how many will come back #insurance0

Old Tea Warehouse for me. Can put it in the diary as a lunch appointment as OTW and no one is any the wiser!
I work in the Cheesegrater rather than the Gherkin - decent cycling facilities, although it's all a bit randomly spaced so you end up wandering around the basement between drying room, shower room, locker, bike racks. And it's a maze to get out of - all the new hires get lost down there.Never be tempted to race against a Barclays Cycle Hire bike. If you do, there are only two outcomes. Of these, by far the better is that you now have the scalp of a Boris Bike.0
