Exposure Joystick Mk12 vs Mk13

I know it's only September, but it's dark by 8:30pm now when I'm out on my MTB.
My Mk2 Joystick has seen better days - the button doesn't work properly and neither does the smart port so I was going to get a new one. I think the Mk2 gave out 240 lumens, the current model is a whopping 1000 lumen.
Mk12 seems to be the model that's in the shops, but a couple of websites mention a Mk13 (generally OOS). The specs look identical - does anyone know what the difference is between the two?

It looks like the MK12 has better water proofing. It is rated at IPX7 whereas the MK13 is IPX6.
The MK13 seems to have a shorter maximum burn time as well. 24hrs vs 36hrs.
It is also heavier than the MK12.
I'd buy the MK12 and save £50.“Life has been unfaithful
And it all promised so so much”
Giant Trance 2 27.5 2016 ¦ Sonder Broken Road 2021¦ Giant Revolt Advanced 2 2019 ¦ Giant Toughtroad SLR 1 2019 ¦ Giant Anthem 3 2015 ¦ Specialized Myka Comp FSR 20090 -
I was going with the Mk12 will be discounted as the 13 becomes generally available.0

Thanks, didn't spot the IP rating.
I think I can live with only 24 hours runtime so I'll do the same as V68 and keep an eye out for a Mk12.0
