Hey all,
I'm just looking for a some advice (and making a cheeky plug)

I inherited this bike from my dad but unfortunately its too big for me - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Massi-Mega-T ... 2804117178

I've had it listed on facebook for about a year but no luck.
Is there a go to place for selling vintage road bikes? its particularly hard because i dont know much about it

Cheers

-The eBay listings section in the classifieds section on here
-Retrobike.co.uk classifieds (you could also post in their forum and ask for more info about it)
    -Road.cc classifieds
    -Pinkbike Buy/Sell section
    -Gumtree

I'd also take it somewhere a bit more picturesque for the the photos too. Then get a nice, clear photo of the driveside of the bike. See here for some good tips on how to make your bike look good in photos:

  • Spanish brand I believe, mid range tube set, mid range groupset. Nothing there to really get excited about, it's a nice bike for someone that wants an old racer without getting into collectable stuff and paying collectable money. As above take better photos, maybe get someone to measure the top tube and seat tubes properly for you so people onow what size it is and you should get what it's worth on ebay if you offer to post.

Start it on eBay at 99p with no reserve, then it will sell. But not for £700.

Unless someone mistakes it for a classic Masi rather than a Massi.

  • I'm going to guess it sells for £400 on the basis that it looks retro and a bit different.

Bikes of that age have no intrinsic market value - so it might be worth £300 to someone - or £30 to someone else. It's not particularly collectable in the same way that a vintage Colnago or Daccordi might be...
