Hello,

I have a 07 Specialized Hardrock Sport with the RST Gila Plus T7 fork and I am looking to change the fork out for a MTB rigid fork that can hold 700c wheels. I am trying to install road bike wheels onto my mountain bike. Is this possible and if so which fork should I buy?

Before you mess around changing the forks have you checked that a 700c wheel will fit the rear?
If it won't then you can save yourself the hassle of changing the forks.

Is it disc or rim braked?
