Are Sora shifters compatible with an Alivio crankset
Hello all.
I am thinking of changing the crankset to a Cannondale to make it more uphill friendly.
Current configuration: Shimano Sora 3504 shifters with Shimano Sora 50-39-30 crankset.
A 9-speed cassette 11-30, with a short length Shimano derailleur.
I would like to replace the crankset with a 44-33-22 Shimano Alivio.

Is that compatible with the current shifters, short derailleur, cassette and clamp?
Will I need to change to chain length, as well the clamp?
I also thought of a 46-36-26 and 11-36 cassette combo. But this seems more expensive as I would have to buy a new cassette and rear derailleur. Without mentioning the labour. Or perhaps I could stick to 11-32 cassette which would not require a new derailleur.
