Thru Axle Frame and QR Wheelsets?

When you've now got a thru axle road bike with rim brakes. Is there a way to make your various rim brake QR wheelsets compatible for this thru-axle bike?

wrong way round philthy, the op wants to convert his QR equipped wheels into wheels with a thru axle for his new bike.

OP the answer is.......... it depends.

Some hubs you can, most you cant.

Cheers. I mainly have an array of Shimano QR Mavic Wheelsets. i.e. early circa 2010 Kysrium SL SSC wheels with the fat spokes which ironically all supported 11-speed from the factory.

Does the Thru axle frame even use 130mm spacing at the back? This will be the next issue with your road wheels.

I suspect your better bet would be to buy some disk brakes and new wheels for it, or sell it and buy a standard QR rim brake frame.
