I don't think there is such stuff as carbon seatpost grease. Grease and teflon are slippy . Carbon assembly paste/gel is not. You do not want your seatpost to move so you do not want grease or teflon on it.0

The manufacturer of this stuff call it "paste " because that is what it is. The seller calls it "paste " and then call it "grease". Grease is a lubricant. This stuff is not. If the people selling the stuff don't know what it is,it is no wonder people get confused.
Perhaps this post should be in "the trivial things that annoy you" thread.0
