  • Morning, same as yesterday I’m afraid, working either pool or cycling after work, depending on the weather

The wife is doing her first 10k today so I’ve been roped in as a pack mule and as a pacer

My dog loves the beach and the sea. All the space. Can get wet.

In just before midnight. It's sunny & cold here. Want to bike tinker, then ride. I expect I will unpack instead. Luckily the cleaner has been so no tidying, and shopping arrives soon, so no supermarket hell.

Started foggy, now it's clearing. Want to go pedal. Swimming with toots later.

    Laters.

    Morning folks,
Traditional slow start has been interrupted by hammering from the builders next door. Went and had a word last night trying very hard not to lose my rag. Feel a bit sorry for the guy working for the psychobitchfromhell. I’m going to have to take up midnight DIY as my new hobby.
Off to the ‘rents shortly as it’s their wedding anniversary. Try and make a fuss of them at least.
Snapped a spoke on the pub hack last night, very irritating.

Neighbours eh? We had to report one of the chavs next door a third time for smoking dope after 2 police warnings in the last fortnight, so hopefully next time it will be an early morning visit with a battering ram. Likely dopehead chav (who always wears the same grey tracksuit and looks unhealthily thin) seems to go for a walk in the same direction up the road once every few days and is back within 10 minutes so we reckon he has a dealer not too far away.

    +1.

Muttley loves our British breaks for the same reason.

lovely sunny ride, only slightly marred by the utter idiocy of the bloated mamils riding on the wrong side of the cycle lane as i hurtled towards them in the blackfriars underpass, gave as much abuse as i could in passing at such high velocity, it wasn't enough though

    brekkie ii put away

contemplating a bask, but temis says the london uv index will peak at a mere 4.8

Went to another food festival this morning, better than usual as the stalls weren't the same as every other festival. Bought some interesting coloured cheese but didn't bring much else home.

Doing 50mph down yesterday's hill climb course, one group of riders is over both sides of the road, another does a U turn in front of me  disc brakes FTW.

Unpacked. Mowed dandelions. Bought pencils, assorted stationery, and pencil case for mini. Bought 3 off "cheap" taittinger comtes de champagne '06 at M&S, who are de-listing it. Taittinger will not be pleased that their top cuvee is being bargain binned.

Got home a little after 3 and the builders were still working. Caught site of the boss and asked him what he was playing at. He looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights and stuttered excuses about how it wasn’t his fault. Told him to MTFU and accept responsibility if he’s project managing he is responsible. Had to walk away before I really lost my rag.
Now old man sitting as my sister has taken her kids to the airport. Lots of tears as they left as they knew they wouldn’t see their grandad again. Absolutely horrible. Unfortunately battering a builder wouldn’t have helped my mood, much as I was tempted.
