Shoot sleep, but managed to spend hours looking at campervans

Today is park run with the rugrats and then a long run. Later is ale
  • Aggh, Mrs Harv wakes up at 5:00am, switches lights on , trips RCB. Which due to her amazing foresight is in our garage. Wakes me up to find torch etc.

Load car, drive, spend day in Malaga, catch flight, catch taxi, get home before midnight I hope.

Sounds simple. I expect rows, silences, strops, moods, and all kinds of truculence.

    Have good a Saturday everyone.

    Morning.
Not as good a morning as yesterday: some clouds in the sky.
More bike fettling this morning (hopefully I don't need to replace an internal cable) ready for 5 minutes of hill climb fun this afternoon.
Aldi camera light has died now: power switch is broken and I can't get the old one off to replace it.

Bit of a lie in then jobs jobs jobs. Bit of brekkie and coffee first.

Found more problems with the ageing family motor which will be quite handy to get Stressbag to pull her finger out and look at the options I've helpfully given her as replacements (which are the ones I like but I know she won't do her own research). Apparently she's too busy to look, so as an added incentive next time the car goes wrong she can take the bloody thing down to the garage

Daniel B has a long running thread in the Road General section on new "family cars" if you need more ideas.

That as a camper van is what I’ve been looking at :)

I just felt a little bit of sick in my mouth.

    Afternoon folks,
Beautiful sunny day here and I’m looking after the olds. Sister and her lot have been on duty all week so it’s the least I can do. District nurse has been, looks nothing like Nurse Gladys. Carers then arrived, had to tell them to calm down as apparently he was crying out in pain when they were moving him. They should be a bit more careful now. He’s on a bit of morphine now and a mate is coming over later with something to make herbal tea that should help.
Out for a mate‘s 50th tonight, might have a beer.
Safe travels Hopper. Hope everyone else is having a good weekend.
