Shimano XTR M9100 - new range

Has anyone read up about the new 12spd 10-51 range that Shimano have bought out?
There's a thorough preview of the range on another site (so I won't link to it here) but it does sound interesting and I wonder how it'll take on SRAM's Eagle range. It sounds like there's smoother changing through the gearing (using 51 teeth instead of 50 helps them space the other cogs better apparently - it wasn't for one upmanship).
Anyone read up on it or demo'd it?

They did a pretty in depth analysis on GMBN of the entire groupset. Worth a watch if you are contemplating buying.
Personally im happy with my 11 speed xt 11-46.0 -
It looks good to me - pricey but Xtr always was.0
