    Morning

Nice when I left home, damp and murky at work, just as bad outside.
Aldi camera light seems to have got damp and won't dry out - do I take it back for a refund or take it to bits to try and dry it out?

    Morning folks,
Was Sungod in a Kingston pub garden last night? Actually, it can't have been as this bloke was too short for the shiny bike. We were sat in the garden and this bloke strutted through wearing what I thought was a Hawaiian pineapple onesie, think it was a Hawaiian shirt with matching shorts though. The shirt was actually quite nice, the shorts would be fine with a plain T. But the two worn together was a little too much to say the least. Still it brightened our evening. The beer and pizzas were good as well.
Took the excuse of carrying some stuff and collecting the Mrs tonight as an opportunity to drive in as I'm utterly knackered. Really could do with a bit more sleep. Supposed to be going to Amsterdam this weekend but not sure what's going on with the old man.
Got to make my own tea again today in the absence of tea wallah, better get on with it I guess.

WFH today as car has gone in for its service and MOT - which it has just failed. That's me down on the cost of new front shocks today, ho hum.

However only 2 more days of work this week so not all bad. Plus the coffee here is better than at work.

41 degrees on the pharmacy digital thermometer when the boy and I strolled for some crisps and a cold tin of beer from the supermercado just now. Off to the old Jewish quarter for larks and to look for el dinner in an hour or so. Enjoy your evening folks.

Far cry from the rattly old train I took from San Sebastian to Barcelona when I was inter railing back in nineteen eleventy eight. I got short shrift from ticket bloke on account of not booking and ended up being lead (by the hand by a sympathetic woman called Maria Luisa N******) to the last carriage. The last carriage was slightly dusty but mostly empty, It had been carrying cement previously!
When we arrived in Barcelona, it was 1 and a half hours late. I said this to some guy who spoke English and he said "Is that all?".

Anyway, wtf do you actually do in these 'labs' SG?

Was murky. Now it's turned into a lovely sunny evening.
I think pedalling plans tomorrow will be scuppered by monsoon #3.

the labs are to build/simulate/test stuff for gmc's gmc punters' punters

tbh these days i mostly determine strategy and splurge gmc's money on them so my lot have what they need to learn/operate, but i still do the odd project in areas i specialise in

We had bread, oxtail stew, ham croquetas, some local gazpacho style thing called salmoreja, some flamenquín (local pork dish) Washed down with montilla, somewhere between dry sherry and white wine. All good. 40 EUR for 4. I like it down here. The reverence for piggy stuff is high.

Whatever SG does, it's very shady and he earns bucket loads.
Are you sure he doesn't stare at goats over the water in the ugly* Albert Embankment**?

*You know the one; Prince Charles had a go at it.
