Yes. Almost all manufacturers have something in their range.
At the budget end you have the Schwalbe city jet (26x1.5") which are great value but a bit dull feeling, or the Decathlon 26x1.2".
Then you step up to those at circa £25 like the WTB Slickasurus/Maxxis Detonator and then for a bit more the Panaracer RiBMo or Continental Sport Contact (My personal favourite). Continental used to make a 26x1.0" Grand Prix.
You may not be familiar with this website https://www.google.co.uk/Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Thanks, thats helpful. Following your lead....I have found a 26" conti folding GP. Is there any tire with lower CRR / rolling resistance than that on 26" wheel?

Rolling resistance is lower generally on a wider tyre, but aero resistance goes up, so yes there are probably tyres with a lower rolling resistance but is that what you really meant to ask or did you mean lowest total resistance. The issue is that the Cd of a rolling tyre is frankly hideous so while the area may not be big (frontal area) they have a big effect on the total CdA of the bike and rider.
Depending on your speed 25-32mm tyres are best (lowest total resistance), the faster you go the narrower the tyre gives the lower overall resistance. I commute on 28mm as riding with the weight and drag of a pannier drops my speeds a bit.
No 26" road tyres tested, but some useful info here https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com/ and if you really want to knock yourself out http://www.aeroweenie.com/Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
