How to clean my bike

I have a Moda Stretto, carbon frame in matt black and white, and ever since I have owned it I have an issue with grease/brake dust etc where I'm not able to get it off the frame.

Does anyone know of any products that will shift it? I have tried wiping over it with degreaser, I also have Crankalicious matt finishing spray, but that is more of a 'polish' than a cleaner.

It's worse near the chainset and on the chainstays.

Morgan blue chain degreaser for chains and oily paint work. Brutal stuff but probably kills turtles.

inbetween deep cleans, Baby wipes. (Also responsible for marine mamal death)

I read about baby wipes and they don't touch it
  • A 70:30 blend of acetone and dichloromethane should do it.

Lolol well that will do it alright.

But it’s a bike made of carbon cloths and resins with paint..... not a glass

This would definitely remove the grease and crap but you might consider the effect it will have on the bike.

Good hot water and washing up liquid (or car shampoo) and then GT85 for oil/tar deposits...
FFS! Harden up and grow a pair :D
