So after a year on a boardman HT I wanted to build my own bikes and since then I had a thing for steels.

Cotic soul 26"
This is probably my favorite frame that I have ridden, seemed to float along nicely.

Stanton Slackline 26"
As a novice rider I couldn't get on with the slackline but I think now I would enjoy it more. It worked well decending but I didn't understand the geometry at the time.

Cotic BFe 26"
I couldn't find any Soul frames at reasonable prices so I descided to give the BFe a shot, it was a bit heavy, more rugged but
chucking it down a steep trail and it was a lot of fun.

Cotic BFe 26"
Yes I have put rigid forks on a BFe, they are correct for 120-130mm travel, I guess I wanted to make a BFSoul but it didn't quite work out, wasn't too bad as a slighty fat xc bike.

Inbred 29er
Trying something a bit bigger and liking it.

Have a nice switchback 650 to build now.

Very nice collection! I think the Slackline would be my weapon of choice.

Ever considered a Dialled Bikes Prince Albert?

  • Thanks,

I have never been after a Prince Albert, I'd like to try the Alpine though.

The stantons have a really nice finish to their frames, the switchback I have is custom painted by argos cycles, should be quite a bit nicer than any of those once complete.
