Route to Paddock Wood from the City

Morning folks.
Can anyone recommend a decent route to Paddock Wood from the City?
I may have the chance to ride there on Friday evening, but my knowledge of the roads out that way - or indeed anywhere south-east of Tower Bridge - going to detain anyone for very long at all.
