BMC GF01 2015 build

Hi guys,

I’ve seen a GF01 2015 frame in my size. It’s a frame I’d really like to get and then build up my self. I’ve never built a bike before, I do have an engineering background (albeit a little while ago) and I’m going to take it slowly, I also have a copy of Zinn and the art of road bike maintenance to help me out.

I’m very open to advice, has anyone built a GF01? Any recommendations for parts? I’m considering re-using some of the groupset off my current bike to keep costs down.

    Assembling a bike is assembling a bike. It isn't rocket science and providing you have the tools required, anyone should be able to do it.
    I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.
