Yet another tall & skinny jersey thread

I am struggling to find a jersey that fits. I have a 92cm/36" chest and a 74cm/29" waist, but I am 193cm/6ft4" tall and weigh 65kg. Jerseys that fit my chest and waist are typically too short in the body (i.e. look like crop tops).

Can anyone with similar dimensions suggest any current jerseys that might fit? Or any base layers?

Thanks

p.s. there are many threads on this topic, but I am asking again because the fit of certain models change.

Castelli, Sportful and La Passione are all reasonably long in my experience. If you try something that is fairly close fitting to begin with, hopefully you won't have to size down too much and you'll therefore keep the length.

Rapha and Gore probably won't be any good for you.

If you still struggle, maybe get a larger jersey and someone with a serger/overlocker to take in the sides?

Did you have a specific Castelli Jersey? When I tried some on (forgot the models) in a LBS they were very short in the body. I have not tried Sportful nor La Passione, so will look into them.
  • Quite similar dimensions to me, sometimes is really quite a struggle to find fitting kit!
In my experience the Craft mesh baselayers are plenty long enough, even in the smaller sizes. The only 'current' jersey that I can suggest trying is a Kalf Flux (UK Evans exclusive), which is probably the longest that I own.

Sportful Bodyfit Pro are reasonably long.

Maybe try one of the aero Castelli jerseys to see if you can get away with a larger (and therefoe longer) size.

the castelli race cut jerseys have slimmer fit, the ones in the shop may have been the models with a more 'relaxed' cut

see if you can find the 'aero race' jersey to try, it's designed for a snug fit, from your measurements maybe 'small' is the size

they are cut to fit in riding position, standing up may make the front hem creep up a bit

Perhaps you're looking at this the wrong way round - at 193cm and 65 kgs (assuming no medical condition eg Marfans) you might just need to eat a few pies?
FFS! Harden up and grow a pair :D
  • Long thin bodies are a nightmare for off the peg manufacturers. You may be better off getting your jerseys made bespoke.

joking aside, your BMI (I know it isn't really that robust a measure but it's all I have to go on!) is very low, it is probably worth your while trying to gain weight.

  • I'd recommend la passione in size small. I am not far off your dimensions, 190 and 70kgs, and their jerseys are long enough and very close fitting. Should be a pretty good fit for you

I am 6ft7 and was a slim build in my 20’s. Now I am a 100kg bronzed ripped Adonis of cycling.

Based on My experience I think you will have to compromise and go for slightly larger size that gives you the length you need. In my experience tighter fitting like castelli is your best compromise. Have a look at the size charts and if you order from somewhere with free returns you can order a few sizes to see which fits best. Gore do good length but tend to be larger fitting but worth a try.

I'm same height and I really am skinny at ~90kgs. Wish I was a little less but have next to no room to lose weight so not sure how one could be 65kgs.

That aside I have Castelli, La Passione, Assos all long enough in XL. I'd suggest the Castelli is tightest fit so might be best bet.

I’m just shy if 6’4 and 78kg. I just bought a couple of void jerseys in large recently that are very snug on me, so may work for you too. Tried Rapha pro team or attaquer in large?

This American manufacturer makes cycling clothing in extra long sizes : https://www.aerotechdesigns.com/tall-ma ... parel.html. The disadvantage is the cost of postage to Europe.

Other than that, I bought a reflective cycling jacket made by Sugoi, from the Spanish site Bikeinn, which was much longer than the average, so maybe their jerseys are longer too.

I ordered a Rapha Pro team in small and it was much too short. It is the shortest jersey I have tried on. It was also a little baggy, even compared to my old cheap Decathlon jersey (which was both longer and slimmer).
