Can anyone suggest a decent low stack head set? Or a place I get get a low stack bearing cap? I had a bike fit recently, they has slammed my stem and moved me forward (to prevent the back pain) but the FSA bearing cap (15mm) is too high. I cant seem to find a top cap that is smaller than 15mm. Picture below, excuse the extra steerer tube ( will get this cut once I have it right)

Ebay search for tapered headset spacers -- 10mm readily available in 1 and 1/8
Up to you if you want to go smaller but they do go down to 7.5mm.

There are loads of these conical spacers available, how low do you want it to be? They go less than 7.5mm if you want.

As above, ebay is good, or pop into lbs, they usually have a drawer of these taken off bikes when headsets are changed.

Have a look at this thread. grafixbyjorj is very helpful. You may also need a new low rise compression ring -

or just buy the cane creek one that is designed by a multinational company that makes millions of head sets to do what the bloke wants to do without having to go to 29 different people all working out of a shed in their gardens after they work in the local newsagent.
