Removing wheel from Cube Attain GTC Pro Disc 2017

Hi All,
Feel a bit silly asking this, but I am having difficulty getting the wheels off my Cube Attain GTC Pro Disc in order to change my inner tubes. It is the first time I have needed to do this since buying my bike in April.
Unfortunately it is not a quick release and is a through axel instead, which I thought just needed an allan key, but this does not seem to be the case.
Any help would be appreciated.

P.s. Try keep the laughs to a minimum, my pride is hurting enough.

All you need is an allen key, 6mm IIRC. Insert key into axle, undo then pull it out...0

Allen keys (and obvs make sure you keep said keys with your spare tube!)0
