sram nx indexing

Bought a Pinnacle Iroko 2 second hand. All is good apart from the indexing- has Sram NX 11 speed drivetrain. I`ve only ever run Shimano. Is it the same to index sram as it is for Shimano or is there more to it? Cheers

If you'd set it all up and it's not quite right, I'd look at replacing the cable and see if that helps.
