Planet X RT 58

Silly question perhaps but i want to build a winter bike using parts I have kicking around. Narrowed it down to the PX RT 58 frameset for a jaw dropping £90 or a Kinesis T3 frameset for £380.

I assume I would be mad to go for the Kinesis over the PX?

Both do the same thing on paper but the Kineses looks nicer but not £300 nicer. Any thoughts?

Also does anyone know of a cheapish tapered headset as the FSA one is about £60!

    Go RT58.. you can get a headset for £15 off ebay
    You'll probably need to clean out the bottom bracket threads as they get covered by paint and not cleaned up at the factory.
    You'll need a few other bits and bobs but at £90 plus that annoying £20 delivery charge, it is still a steal.

    Just sen the Dolan Preffisio has gone down in price too shame it's a horrible colour way.

    I’m building up an RT-58 frame currently, albeit it got delayed due to Planet X’s incredibly poor customer service.

    The Brand-X tapered headset from Wiggle was about £13 and fits nicely.
