Bike hire near bourg d'oisans

My mate from work has decided to drive in his cramped VW camper van to bourg d'oisans at the time of the tour and would rather hire a bike than try to take his own.

All the shops in bourg/alpe are all hired out during this period and was wondering if anybody could supply an alternative hire in the nearby area?

    Grenoble isn't far away but far enough to probably have bikes free on the day.

    When I went a few years ago we sat outside a cafe on a street named "Rue de General de Gaulle" I remember that street had quite a few bike shops, some with hire bikes racked outside, I think the one opposite our cafe stop was "Cycles and Sports". Ahhh happy days.


    I wish him luck, I'd expect Bourg d'Osians to be absolutely mobbed for the Alpe d'Huez stage.
