Garmin 520 not showing contacts

Hi, does anyone know how to show who has send you a text or calling you when your phone is paired with garmin 520? When I get a text it just shows "new message", I thought it would also show the sender?
I know going out on bike that shouldn't be bothered with this, but sometimes I need to respond to important messages and calls from work so this would let me filter these out,

    are the contacts stored on your phone OK ? My Garmin Fenix shows contact names or numbers where no name is stored.

    yes, phone has all the contacts stored

    If my garmin showed me calls from work while I was cycling , I`d throw it in a canal :)
