142 x 12 axle for attaching Child's trailer

Hello all.
I've upgraded my bike and gone from a QR rear axle to a 142 x12 Maxle (it's a Pinnacle Iroko, using a Pinnacle rear axe which I believe is the same as the more expensive RS Maxle). All well and good but now I can't attach my child's trailer as it a QR fitting. Any ideas? I've googled the bejesus out of this and can only find the Robert Axle project one but it's £50. I was hoping there'd be a simpler and less expensive solution.
