I’m on an imperial ton today, and it’s a costal route, with a stop at a very nice cycle cafe in Southbourne. As I was passing through a small village on the return, I got nudged by a car coming past on my right. I don’t care about ‘close’ passes so much, but actual contact really winds me up. I was about to remonstrate, when the guy behind in a 4x4 pulled alongside me with his window down and said “I saw that, it was bloody ridiculous” then he took off after the idiot who nudged me, and when they stopped at the queue at the next junction, he drove up beside the idiot, and as I rode past, I could hear the guy in the 4x4 going ballistic at the dotard in the other car. . Fair play to that.

Nothing in the link explained to me what you were on today, but nicely done by the SUV driver.0 -
imperial ton = 100 miles
Metric ton = 100km
Aka imperial century and metric century0 -
As a dirty diesel 4x4 driver, I do exactly the same is I see a muppet endangering a cyclist. Providing the cyclist isn't a muppet themselves seeking to be a Darwin award winner.I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.0
