Does such a thing exist?

I am using a Record 53/39 and want a compact.

I have a Xenon triple (not so lovely, to be frank) of 52/42/30. I also have two Camp BBs Chorus 102mm and Centaur 111mm.

Is the only way to turn this into a nice looking compact is to opt for yet another BB setup via a Power Torque?

Not sure you will find a Campag branded compact square taper but several after market options around eg Stonglite

or an SJS own brand option for £25??

They are all JIS, so it will mean living with a Campag / JIS fit, which may affect chainline too much. Or buying yet another square tapered BB.

I just wonder whether opting for Power Torque might be better, but I have no idea about chainlines with it. Presumably good, Campag to Campag?

Look for a 2nd hand Record square taper compact crank off fleabay - they come up from time to time.

If you want a top quality modern square taper compact crank, have a look at the Sugino Mighty Tour 901D - but you'll need a 110mm JIS BB to go with it: https://alexscycle.com/collections/touring-cranks/products/sugino-mighty-tour-901d-crank-set.

Record was being made in Ultratorque before the compact chainset really took off - the only square taper alloy 'compact' cranks Campagnolo made AFAIK was the likes of Mirage unless you go for a triple. I built one of my bikes using Record / Chorus at that time. I'd avoid Powertorque TBH and find an Ultratorque as you don't need specialist tools to remove the crank / clean and lube the bearings.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Record square taper compact cranks were definitely made:

And I have a pair of Centaur square taper 110BCD compact cranks that I bought about 15 years ago. Good quality - if you look at the Campagnolo spare parts catalogues of the time, a lot of the component internals available as spare parts were identical and had the same part number across Record and Chorus and Centaur.
